On September 25, Kiryu Coco made public Youtube data in the asacoco of that day, which listed Taiwan as a country. And for this political issue involving territorial disputes, the anchor not only failed to give an explanation on the same day as he did when the previous asacoco occurred on inflammation, but also ignored the issue when Chinese mainland fans subsequently entered the live stream that night to make enquiries, and deliberately banned comments in simplified Chinese only by turning the comment field to club limit and selectively reading Superchat, inciting tatsunoko and some Chinese Taiwanese users to mainland Chinese fans. A similar situation occurred on 26 September and Cover, the parent company, failed to make a statement in time, while similar behaviour had already occurred three times in China and Cover had previously issued an announcement stating that it would "strictly train its virtual youtubers not to allow similar incidents to happen again". However, the fact remains that there were two similar incidents involving Akai Haato and Kiryu Coco in two days. On 27th September Cover issued a statement saying that Kiryu Coco would be undergoing a three-week self-examination. However, there was a major discrepancy between the Simplified Chinese announcement and the Japanese and English announcements, with the Japanese announcement describing the incident as "an incident caused by nationalists" after the Chinese announcement stated that it respected the "one-China principle", and then claiming that the Japanese announcement would prevail. This extremely insincere and contradictory statement sparked discontent among fans everywhere. Kiryu Coco's statement on the same day still failed to explain and apologise to the same extent, and then, during the three-week period of self-purge, the tatsunoko, who was an unconditional supporter of the anchor, spread a lot of political-related content on his Twitter account and attacked some subtitling groups represented by HLM, dragging the anchor and the situation into the mire. On 19 October, asacoco re-broadcast also failed to respond to the issue and formally thanked the audience, instead provoking them with the bold caption "Fuck U and never come back" at the end of the show, which is still in use today. Unlike Akai Haato, who made a live apology on the same day, Kiryu Coco also made no explanation for the situation on the night, trying to ignore the issue altogether. But even so, tatsunoko continued to take an all-positive view of the anchor, and Cover never made any further substantive statements or apologies on the matter. The attitude of Cover and Kiryu Coco in avoiding the impact and responsibility of this incident three times, despite the fact that there have been several similar issues, and tacitly allowing fans to continue their politically related attacks has undoubtedly completely angered the original Hololive fans in mainland China and informed netizens. further provocations on 19 October also led to the announcement of the withdrawal of BiliBili's official subtitling team, after 2 For the previous 2 years, all subtitling team's video translations and promotions for hololive's anchors were free and voluntary. To date, even though the situation has spread to other hololive members, affecting many Chinese companies' business partnerships with cover, and triggering the "HoloRisk" phenomenon in the industry, Cover and Kiryu Coco have remained deaf and dumb to the problem and its effects, simply putting the problem down to Nationalism is the main reason for this, and we are trying to put things behind us. It is therefore important that we take the initiative and act in a way that requires them to respond positively and to take appropriate measures.
